Although my cradle was in Breda, I grew up in the west of the country.
I had a training as a pharmacy assistant in The Hague, after which I started working in Amsterdam.
Later, I joined the army as a professional soldier. First at the pharmacy of the military hospital in Utrecht, and then I studied Russian at the military intelligence service in Ede.
When I became the proud mother of my two children, I started looking after them full-time. When they left home, I consciously chose a completely different life and ended up living as a nomad in a camper van in South Limburg.
Even at nursery school, I was fascinated by everything to do with paint, ecoline and crafts. But it took until I was 56 before this passion was given full rein in my life.
Now, in the south of Limburg, I am busy working with stones and making paintings.
Besides stones and paint, dogs are my passion. For this purpose, I set up the Remi Moldova foundation in 2012. Regularly a part of the proceeds of sales through this website goes to the foundation.
